HSE and Accreditation
Clients have a legal obligation with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to ensure that window cleaning contractors working on their premises operate in a safe way. Risk assessment and management involves you, the client, ensuring that your window cleaner looks at the risks that arise on your property and then putting sensible health & safety measures in place to control them. The window cleaning method statement must also detail which control measures have been introduced to ensure the safety of anyone who is affected by the commercial window cleaning task or process.

Our clients have a legal obligation to ensure that window cleaning contractors working on their premises operate in a safe way. The HSE Working at Height Regulations 2005 require duty holders to ensure that no working at height is carried out wherever possible. SAFEcontractor is an accreditation scheme that assesses the health & safety competency of contractors and service providers. We are also audited annually by ContractorPlus - a web based database of contractors who have been rigorously vetted to ensure their health and safety standards are of the highest quality.
